​Two afternoons Alaknanda will speak about holistic health in a way that 
brings you back to your own vibrant and abundant nature. 

It's is all about balancing the elements within. 
Earth, water, fire, air and ether all carry their own specific qualities. 
As a human we are part of nature and therefor, these elements also influence our being and our health. 

Alaknanda will explain how these elements work in our bodies and how we can recognise and use their qualities in food and every day life. 

As an Ayurvedic doctor, she has the experience of working with a lot of western people. Therefor she knows how this wisdom can be integrated into a western life.

Dr. Alaknanda Puri
Alaknanda grew up in the company of saints and seers in an Ashram in Haridwar. By the age of 19 she began studying the Sanskrit scriptures of Swara Yoga and Ayurveda with Swami Anantanand Ji. In 2002 Alaknanda started her formal studies in Ayurveda achieving a certificate in traditional Auyrveda Vaidyavisharad from Hindi Sahitya Sammelan Allahabad. Then she gained a Diploma in Holistic Health Management and also studied Pranic Healing with the World Pranic Healing Foundation. She has a Bachelor in Philosophy and completed one year course in Yogic Science from Shrinagar University. In August 2014 she completed her five years of study for her Bachelors in Ayurveda Medical Science at Ayurveda College Coimbotore, Tamil Nadu.
Alaknanda is teaching at the ashram, as a guest lecturer and traveling throughout Europe.

She is a beautiful being with a great understanding of nature and the knowledge of the scriptures. And she knows how to transfer this knowledge to others in a way that everybody understands and is able to integrate it in daily life. She has an eye for the little things that are not in balance. Her natural healing sense and developed ancient techniques are part of her successful treatment.
